Just had to share this one: Had a guy walk in today with a first stage that looked like it had been worked over pretty good. Turns out the reg was caught in a fire that was hot enough to warp the yoke and there wasn't a speck of plastic left on the unit. Then came the serious question, "Do you think you can fix it?" I took the unit apart, shook the charcoal out of the inside and brushed part of it to show him that the alloy had actually started to seperate (nice rainbows on the outside and inside of the reg.) I warned him that the reg should never, ever again be hooked to anything resembling a tank and to have the tank which was also in the fire destroyed by whatever means he chose, just so long as it could never be used again. Figured some of the other LDS employees out there might get a bit of a chuckle on this one...
