I just purchased a new mk25/s600 from Leisurepro. I did not see a warranty card with the regulator. Should there have been one since Leisurepro is an authorized dealer? Only a manual and a CD came with the package.
If you mean the little plastic card you used to have to have for servicing - my black MK25/A700 did not have one either. They checked and said SP was tracking everything online now and was doing away with them. Sure hope they were right.
My mk17/g250v that I bought last month didn't come with a plastic card, but did come with a couple of paper cards (one for each stage) with warranty info on one side and serial number stickers on the other and instructions on how to register them. I imagine you should have gotten something but I guess either Nick will find them for you or Harry or Kate will set the record straight about what kind of paperwork is supposed to be in the box.
I haven't heard from Scubapros forum rep or back from Leisurepro, so I contacted Scubapro directly and they said there should have been a warranty card and instructions. I went to the scubapro web and tried to register the product. It was rejected for reasons that are unknown. So, the big question, was I sold a legit regulator with factory backing? The purchase was done on Jan 12, 2012.
Sorry, I got a less than clear answer back from my customer service department, so I'm still waiting to get clarification from them on our end. To the best of my understanding, it should definitely be covered under warranty.
I was under the understanding that after December 31, 2011 PFL was only applicable if you bought a BC/Computer/First Stage/ Second stage combo, not only if you bought a reg, or reg set.

I believe that's correct (again, still waiting to hear for sure), but the original question is just about registering for the manufacturers warranty, not PFL.
Since LeisurePro is now an Authorized SCUBAPRO Dealer, you do have full warranty coverage for your purchases. We no longer are including the plastic warranty card in the box as Dealers or consumers can go on line to register their new equipment by serial number. However, in this case, we are still entering LP inventory numbers into our US system and yours is probably coming up invalid. Please send me a private email with your serial numbers and I will have it rectified so that you may register.
Notice: the Parts for Life Program is not to be confused with our Limited Lifetime Warranty on regulators; you have full warranty against manufacturers defects.
Harry, for a reg that was purchased last month, registering it puts it under warranty AND puts it into the parts for life program, correct? I registered it, but just want to confirm that I didn't miss something.
