Came across this recall while doing research on Apeks regs.. don't know if it's old or new.. but thought I would pass it on anyway.

It doesn't affect models sold in North America, and it's been covered on SB. The page lists the recall as being over three years ago..

The title of the notice is dated 11-11-2001 ... that was more than three years ago.

Wonder what the problem was ... you'd think that's a rather important piece of information to leave out of a recall notice ...

It was just below freezing and snow was falling steadily. As we stepped toward that portal separating a cold and dreary world from the tranquility and wonder of another dimension teeming with life and color a passer-by shook his head and muttered "crazy". Poor fool. If he only knew. (Airsix)

I think that had something to do with the plastic body of the 2nd stage potentially cracking.

The face plate (Cover?) of the second stage was falling off if I recall correctly.
