In attempting to put together a complete set of spare O-rings, I am trying to figure out what part 010-50-347 is in the 03/2007 schematic for the G-250 Vintage second stage schematic. The annotated version says "-014 EP85", but
I can't find it anywhere on the regulator. The obvious reply might be, "If you don't have it, then you don't need it". But sometimes it is easy to miss a seal tucked away somewhere, so I'm trying to confirm I really don't need it.

Anyone know what this O-ring is for?

It does not seal anything. It just provides a "cushion" between the hose nut and the knurled nut on the barrel.

Thanks for the explanation and photo. I just checked six G-250s, and none of them had the o-ring. But none of them had the tapered jam nut that NotSure showed in his photo. Does this O-ring only apply to this style of jam nut, or did all six of these regulators just loose their cushion o-ring at some point?

That o-ring gives you a lot of room between too loose and too tight, but it will work without it. I use one on my wife's S600.

Are your regulators vintage G250's or the newer G250V's? The vintage G250 doesn't use the O ring.

Oh, I see. So "Vintage" doesn't mean the original style. Kind of like Coke Classic isn't really the old coke.

Classic coke is old coke.

After they brought out new coke they had to remarket to reassure customers that yes, we went back to the original formula

So fear not, there is some sense in the world.
