We have a group going down the BH March 15th - 16th. Its supposed to be warm and sunny!
After a couple of days of diving, were going to head up to Taos for some skiing. From there, were going to zoom up to Crested Butte for some more skiing.(CB has had 30 feet of snow so far this year!)
Satiated, we head back to Fort Collins for the CSU OW diving final exam, then out to the Crater for OW dives on the 29th and 30th.
I maybe up for this. I'll have to see how things shape up as this draws closer. Unfortunately at work we have a release scheduled for that weekend, so if I go, it would likely be just for the weekend.
Anyone from Denver up for ride sharing? I've done the solo trip down before, but it makes for a very tiring weekend between the long drive, and the diving.

Well, the trip I was going to make last month, I am going to make this month. That means I will leave Friday morning (3/14) and drive down to Santa Rosa. Which means I will be up for diving that evening. I can dive Saturday. I will then leave Sunday morning for SoCal. (Maybe, get in a dive before leaving) Still working on the details for SoCal but the idea is to dive kelp forest the following Saturday.
So, Ron, think you might be going to the Blue Hole?
It looks like we can't leave until Saturday afternoon, so we may do a night dive Sat. night. Otherwise, we will be diving on Sunday.
We are really looking forward to skiing Taos on the 18th. It looks like they open the mountain to snowboarders for the first time ever on the 19th. Taos is one of the last holdouts, so this kind of marks the end of the old school era.
We are looking at leaving here early Sunday morning and diving BH Sunday afternoon and Monday morning. We'll have Stella do fills for us on Sunday, and keep 4 EANx36 tanks for ourselves to use on Monday.
It looks like there will be no RMO around....
but,
I am going back to BH to teach AOW and a Drysuit specialty April 5 and 6. Will anyone be there then?

What are your plans exactly for this weekend. I seriously doubt I can make it, but maybe if I could share gas and a room, I could clear my schedule.
