Some pictures from a recent dive-weekend in Narvik, Norway.
Narvik is a wreck paradise. Wrecks are from April 1940. One of the first naval battles of WW2.
Six wrecks are right in the harbour. Depth – 20-30 m. Vis – 15 m + .
Great pictures. The wrecks look great! Amazing they are 60 years old. A few questions. What are the water temps like? Are there local scuba shops? We are always looking for other places to go, and will need to add this to the list!
Comparing to Russia, water is warm. + 4-10C. Depending on a season. The colder - the better vis.
A traveller should take into consideration polar night. Local dive op's - Swedish live-aboard ship and Narvil sport diving club.
