When I went to Grand Cayman I stayed at another B&B but sunset house was a runner up, I have heard good things about them.
DiveTech is a great dive boat and if you do a three day boat package with them they will give you free tanks of air for all the shore diving you want to do, great deal. Must do's turtle reef (shore dive) Eden Rock (shore dive) North Wall (boat dive) Stingray City (boat dive)
Welcome to Divetech -- Grand Cayman's premier dive shop

Thanks for the info on dive sites - since my LDS put the trip together with Sunset House for the OW cert dives I'll be diving with them so I'll let you know how it goes. I'm hoping we'll be able to choose what sites we want to dive at for the boat dives

I'll be in Playa del Carmen from 24-29 January. My husband doesn't dive, so if anyone if going to be there as well as would like a buddy, let me know.
If it is really pretty, really ugly, or is not afraid of you, leave it alone.

Yes. I was on the Cayman Aggressor for a week, and then I stayed in Sunset House for 3 days afterwards. Not bad at all. And there is a great shore dive directly in front of it, called Sunset beach, I believe. There is a mermaid statue there, pretty easy to find. Make sure to give her a kiss from me! (She has a twin statue in Powell River, BC, which I have also given a kiss to. Hehe). Anyway, I was pretty happy with Sunset House. I'd stay there again, definitely.
Thanks to naclydogg for my avatar
