I have been trying to find information on what it takes to become safety diver on film sets and expedition teams and looking for job opportunities. However, there is very limited information to be found. I am an instructor, technical deep diver and technical cave diver with several years of work experience in the dive industry. Does anyone know if I would need any more qualifications or have any tips on where I can find more information or work opportunities. Thanks for the help!

Local 80 (I think?) in California is IATSE's water local. Without getting into the union/non-union debate, if you get in that local, you will get work as a safety diver.
