Scubaba.com, the world’s only real-time scuba dive reservation and dive shop management solution, is pleased to announce its partnership with SeaLife Cameras, a leading manufacturer of underwater cameras and accessories for underwater photography. The collaboration, beginning this September, will strategically align the two brands and enable them to market their product offerings to a broader audience.
“We’ve aligned ourselves with SeaLife because they’re a leader in the dive industry,” said Andrew Mills, CEO of Scubaba.com. “Both our attitudes on continuing to push boundaries and our love of technology make this partnership a win-win.”
Starting September 1st, SeaLife will kick-off a six-month sponsorship of Scubaba’s Amateur Underwater Photographer of the Month series. The photo series highlights a scuba diver’s unique underwater images each day for a month through various social media marketing channels. In addition, the pair will be teaming up on a number of other co-marketing initiatives throughout the year.
“Partnering with Scubaba will open up our camera, lighting and accessory offerings to an even larger audience,” said Sven Harms, V.P. at SeaLife. “We’re thrilled to team up with a platform where divers can easily research and plan their passion – scuba diving. It’s great to see a website that provides such an innovative reservation service to divers.”
The Micro HD, SeaLife’s newly launched camera, is the first permanently sealed, leak-proof underwater camera. It features 13MP images, full 1080p HD video, and a wide 140-degree fisheye lens. In celebration of the new alliance, Scubaba will host a giveaway for one of the new Micro HD cameras – a $399 value. Divers can enter to win here.
Mills concluded, “We see the benefits in joining forces and we are both looking forward to growing our audiences together through each of our loyal customer bases.”
