FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
ScubaTalc moves into North Jersey sales office

Franklin Sporting Supply, maker of ScubaTalc, is excited to announce that it has moved into a sales office in Montville, NJ.

ScubaTalc is a useful scuba diving accessory that will be available only through dive shops. Made of 99.9% pure, asbestos-free, talcum powder, ScubaTalc is the perfect lubricating product for dry suit seals and neoprene wetsuits.

“Dive shop’s and exposure suit manufacturers have been recommending the use of talcum powder for ease in donning and to extend the life of dry suit seals for many years,” reports David Felder, President of Franklin Sporting Supply. “But when you ask someone where to purchase talcum powder, there are not a lot of choices.”

ScubaTalc, packaged in an 8 ounce bottle, also includes a small muslin bag that the diver can fill at home and bring to their dive site. Because the muslin is porous, the powder penetrates the bag and creates a thin film on the inside of the drysuit seal. “Our bag allows for easy application of our powder with very little waste. An eight ounce bottle should last for well over a hundred applications,” Felder says. “Compare that to other products that come in a spice jar bottle with huge holes that can waste almost an ounce of powder in a day or two of diving.”

Franklin Sporting Supply was started on a kitchen table in December of 2013. In addition to its flagship “ScubaTalc” product, it also distributes stainless steel hardware such as snap bolts and EMT shears, and pre-cut latex hose in retail ready packaging.

A video demonstrating ScubaTalc can be seen at www.scubatalc.com. Dive shops interested in becoming dealers for ScubaTalc or other dive products can contact Franklin Sporting Supply through info@franklinsportingsupply.com or by telephone at 732-894-4494.

Good for you. It's great to see cottage industry in our sport grow to something a lot bigger.

Thanks for the encouragement, but it's really more like gambling then growing. But you got to start somewhere. Sample sent to scubaboard.com for review.
