I am a new diver that wants to do some type of volunteer work in my area. I have heard of scuba scouts, does anyone know of any dive groups in my area jefferson city missouri. that could use my help?

there's an excellent dive/recovery guy working for trex in kck. tanner does camp naish and volunteer work. i don't think there's anyone at bartle that i've heard of yet though. if you can find him through naish, he may be able to tell you what he did to start the program.

there's a few military people on fishheads.org from jeff city that may be divers.

i'd get yourself a trusted partner and start teaching the merit badge. if i was closer i'd help get you started in a heartbeat.
