There is no real differents with MK25 and s600 the facing is different, from what i heard no other differents with s600,if there is very little.

I have had MK25 S600 for last 11 years and well over a 1000 dives and have now replaced them and the setup is still the best going around.

I also managed to receive a significant discount, which was a bonus.I was going to start a topic regarding this setup. But you beat me to it.

Newer S600 has metal air barrel rather than plastic.

Hi All,

The air barrel change was implemented a couple years ago. The only difference between 2012 and 2013 S600's is the styling, with the metal ring around the outside of the face. Often when we introduce a new model, the old one is discounted, which helps move inventory. Simple as that. Grab 'em while you can! :)

Kate,

Thank You for the clarification.

Hmmm... I still use my Mk10/G250s and love them, but maybe I'll look for a 2012 Mk25/S600 so I can compare these new fangled regs with my old ones.

The new-fangled ones are used with a BC and without the J valve :D
