Sea and Sea announces housing for Nikon D600
Sea & Sea has announced the release of a housing for the Nikon D600 SLR camera. The MDX-D600 is a compact, lightweight design with access to all the camera's essential controls. It has two fiber optic ports, as well as two additional bulkheads for the possible installation of electronic flash triggering, HDMI or other bulkheads. It is supplied with a leak detector as standard and is compatible with Sea $ Sea's NX series lens ports.The MDX-D600 will be shipping from mid-January at a US retail price of $3,399.00 or $3,499.00 with a 2 pin wiring harness (for electronic strobe triggering).

New Housing for the Nikon D600 dSLR camera available January 2013.SEA&SEA is pleased to announce its latest dSLR housing for the underwater market, the MDX-D600.If shooters have been looking to take their photography to the next level with full-frame performance, Nikon has the answer with the new D600.The power of a FX-format camera offering 24.3mp full-frame images, high-quality full HD 1080p video at 30fps, 5.5fps continuous shooting, super fast framing and focus with a 39-point AF system, low-light performance with ISO 100-6400 and more is offered in this new HD-SLR. The D600 is optimised for full-frame shooting and is compact and lightweight for ease of travel and packability, ideal for underwater photographers.
The MDX-D600 is fully-featured and precision engineered as its MDX predecessors, but in a more compact and lighter weight design. The MDX-D600 allows for operation of the D600s essential controls and built-in flash while underwater.
The housing is compatible with both the VF180 and VF45 prism viewfinders offering 1.2x magnification, is depth rated to 100m/330ft, equipped with 2 bulkheads - the first to accept a YS Converter (#50123) or manual (#50122) wiring harness and the second for an optional HDMI output for an external HD monitor and is also equipped with two fiber-optic cable ports.Additionally, the MDX-D600 comes standard with a built-in leak sensor and is compatible with SEA&SEAs NX series ports, digital strobes such as the YS-01, YS-02, YS-110α, YS-D1 and YS-250Pro along with many SEA&SEA SLR accessories.
The MDX-D600 (#SS-06165) has an MSRP of $3,399.00. It is also offered as a package with a manual (2-pin) wiring harness (#SS-06165A) at $3,499.00. Initial shipments are scheduled for mid-January.
