Anyone have any good advice on where to go cage diving to see the white sharks I'm dying to see?? I'm torn between California and Australia mostly - but I haven't ruled out South Africa!
isla de guadelupe (sp.?) sounds like the new top spot viz/shark size wise etc. South Africa would give you a chance to do lots of other cool dives as well as the GWS trip though.
I've been to Guadalupe twice and had the BEST time each trip.
11 sharks on the first trip, and even more on the second!
The trip is outstanding.
If you consider going to Guadalupe you should go with these guys,
they run a great operation.
I recently returned from Guadalupe Island.
Although VERY expensive compared to SA and
Australia, it was worth every penny. But if you
factor in airfare from the US, the cost is probably similiar.
San Diego Shark Diving was my outfit and they
run a top notch operation. Saw sharks on 14 of 15 dives!!
