The global shark survey is a simple snapshot of how many sharks are seen per hour of diving at many different locations. Simply record how many hours you were underwater and how many sharks you saw. Please include all hours where there were no sharks.
This sounds like a lobbying effort for something. Way too many numbers being compiled that ultimately, that says nothing other than having a stack of numbers used for fabricating a story to fit an agenda. I'm sure there are some "shark conservation" groups that I wouldn't put out if they were on fire. Just sayin'.
How about including a little info about what you're compiling this data for, and what the objectives of your project are? How about telling us about your group? How about telling us about who's heading this, and where the financing is coming from?
Don't just post a link. TELL US what you're doing. I'm sure you'll get a far better response.

It's not my survey, I'm just throwing the info up to help get the word out.
