I'm a Fish!
We Are Organising the first real underwater clean up in Cambodia.
A few have been done before on a small not so well organised scale.
This will be the oppertunity to be involved in the first steps of creating a way forward for marine conservation in cambodia.
The event will be well publisised and we hope to gain support and momentum from the wider dive community to help establish marine parks and conservation areas in Cambodia.
Little is known about the ecosystems in cambodia and diving here is relatively new, with many areas still undived, over the past year I have found 6 different species of seahorse including a dwarf species no bigger than 1cm.
We have 3 different species of octopus including a species of mimic.
The seahorse here are numerous with many healthy breeding pairs.
The reefs here are still surviving but we need support to keep them that way and help the damaged areas regenerate.
The Event will be held on the 22nd of april to coincide with world earth day.
