The Pirate Coast Dive Festival takes place this year from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 14 and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 15, 2008, at Siesta Key Public Beach, Sarasota, Fl. Festival tickets are a $10 donation.
In addition to boasting one of the most biologically active aquatic systems in the United States, Southwest Florida maintains a phenomenal number of shipwrecks and natural and artificial reef systems that host some truly fascinating marine creatures. Siesta Key the Dive Festival location is one of the best known beaches in the world because of its sugar-white sandy shores.

The Pirate Coast Dive Festival will feature more than 50 dive sports-related exhibits under a giant tent at the edge of the Gulf. In addition to dive exhibits, Scuba Quest Dive Shops will also feature a Scuba Discovery Pool where non-divers can try scuba for free, signature seafood, live music, more than 30 free seminars and thousands of dollars in prizes and raffles!
The Pirate Coast Dive Festival is the first scuba event that addresses the wonders and needs of the Gulf of Mexico through education, conservation and recreation. Come join us and help foster the mission of Mote Marine Laboratory, Mote Aquarium and the Mote Marine Laboratory Dive Operations Program!
