Indian Valley Scuba is pleased to announce our very first Discover Tec Diving Event 10am-6pm September 25, 2011
at 601 Yoder Road, Harleysville, PA 19438 (800)825-2452 See flyer link and description below for more details:
Join us for the day for your chance to experience diving in a technical diving rig free of charge. There will be presentations by IVS staff on rebreathers, technical dive gear, mixed gas diving, and technical instructors in the pool to give you the chance to try out the equipment for yourself. Even if you have never thought about technical diving before here is your chance to find out for yourself that technical diving is not only for those who want to venture to the depths of the ocean floor but has its place in all levels of diving. This is an excellent way to learn about extending your bottom time on sites like the LSD-32 Spiegel Grove or Vandenberg during our Florida Keys trips.
This event is open to everyone to attend but in order to get in the pool and try out technical gear for yourself you must be at least 18 years of age, hold a Open Water Diver certification or higher, and have at least 10 logged dives. Advanced registration is suggested for all those wishing to try technical gear in the pool.
The IVS grill masters will be on hand getting there cooking on and its going to be a day for lots of fun to be had by all.
