On Saturday, December 17, 2011, Down Under Surf and Scuba in Raleigh, NC will host its annual Holiday Banquet. at the Devil's Ridge Country Club (Holly Springs, NC).
The keynote speaker this year is Ned DeLoach (Meet the team of New World Publications for more info). We thought this event might be of interest to divers in the NC, VA and SC area, especially anyone interested in u/w photography, Indonesia, etc. Ned will also be bringing copies of his Reef Fish/Creature/Coral ID Series. Even if you are not into 'hero worship', it is a great opportunity for an autograph on your copy, if you wish to bring it.
Here are the highlights: Tickets are $40, and include a great dinner, lots of entertainment, and a chance at thousands (over $2K so far) worth of door prizes. Location is Holly Springs, NC (Devils Ridge Golf Club / Clubs / Home - ClubCorp). Time is 6:15PM for the Social Hour, Dinner begins at 7:15PM, and the presentation will begin at 8:00PM.
If you are intersted in attending, visit http://www.downunderscuba.com/ for details, or call the shop (852-5333) for more info.
Thanks and Happy Holidays!
