Please join us for a very special presentation on Sunday, January 15, 2012 in Ft Lauderdale where we will be treated to a presentation by National Geographic photographer Anne L. Doubilet, FR 02, who will take us on a journey From Pole to Pole: The Arctic, Papua New Guinea and the Antarctic. Anne Doubilet is an underwater explorer, writer and photographer who has logged thousands of dives worldwide as a freelance photographer and for National Geographic Magazine on 34 stories about the seas. Illustrated by spectacular photographs, this presentation will take us from corals throughout the Indo Pacific to penguins clustered on Antarctic islands to polar bears on shrinking Arctic ice. Our cash bar opens at 5:30 PM, dinner will be served at 6:30 PM with the lecture to follow. Charge for this event is $40.00 per person and reservations are essential.
