can anyone recommend where to go (website) for practical, effective, safe training programs for improved freediving skills (i.e. vastly improved breathholding while active underwater)? really want to improve my skills and abilities in this area. any recs on whether or not the "respiration tools" (power ventilation, etc. ) are worth it ? looking to buy mares razor pro fins - any comments? thanks

I just don't log dives
I'm looking for similar information. The PFI site is good, and I'm sure the course is excellent. Is there anywhere to get information without formal instruction?
Dive training magazine had a nice article in the June 2010 issue. How to breath differently and some safety. I thought it was awesome. I can hold my breath for a good minute but I got up one minute and thirty three seconds withou trying. I need to practice though.
Another one is Freediving Instructors International. They have a very informative website including an Instructor Locator to assist you in finding your nearest certified freediving professional. FII offers certification courses from Junior Freediver through to Professional.
