video interview with freediving specialist Ai Futaki
Ai Futaki started FreeDiving only very recently, but has made world fame in the meantime. She makes Underwater FreeDiving Videos and Underwater FreeDiving Photos. She recently set a Guinness World Record on female freediving when she completed the longest distance in a cave on a single breath-hold dive with a monofin and then a 90 meter dynamic swim without a fin.
We asked Ai what drives her to go freediving, how hard - or easy - freediving is compared to diving with tanks, and what her most precious moment was when freediving. This interview relates to the video of her Guinness World Record that was released earlier.
