My wife and I are thinking about a trip in December and really wanted to go to the CoCo view in Utila but the flight alone seems a bit high so we are thinking about Cozumel. I am looking for some input about freediving there. We have stayed around the Riviera Maya and when we took a snorkel trip we had to wear a PFD so I am worried about this as well. It seems like a lot of what I have seen is that most of the diving there is drift diving and I don't see this as being much fun as a freediver. Is this a bad idea for freediving?
