Tri-Counties June '06 Dive/Picnic/Campout

Hello Everyone,
You are invited to attend the Tri-Counties Picnic/Dive for June. This month we will be camping out all weekend!

When: Saturday & Sunday June 3rd&4th, 2006
Where: Camping at Gaviota State Beach


What is the Tri-Counties Picnic/Dive?

This is a monthly gathering of all divers and non-divers in Ventura, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, and other areas. It's a lot of fun involving diving, eating, socializing and even camping!
This is a great place to bring the family for the day or weekend.
It is an excellent place to meet new dive buddies, ask questions about diving, and have a great time all at one place.

We will be camping at Gaviota State Beach.

We can use this site for our early morning, evening, and night gathering place. There are numerous dive sites along the coast in this area. We can branch out to other sites to dive during the day, with possible night dives, also.
I am going to secure 1 or 2 campsites, as needed, Friday morning. Anyone that wants to join us, are welcome. Dives are in order, I am sure.
If you can only make it one day, that is fine. We need a count on everyone that is camping and for how many days. Please respond to this post, so, I know how many campsites we will need.

All this fun, and we get to do a ReefCheck Survey, too? Love it! With enough RC'ers attending, we might complete the survey over the two days. That would be great

I wonder if anyone could dive with us and take some pictures of the survey team at work. You can't count "pretty", but it can be photographed... hoping, of course, for viz will be better than the 5-8 feet of soup we had at Old Marineland yesterday.
