I will be starting a Openwater SCUBA class at the YMCA of Glendale.
The class has 5 to 6 pool sessions. Plenty of practice of skills.
The class starts October 15, at 8:30 a.m. There is no pre-registration.
First day is introduction and swim evaluation. Afternoon is equipment lecture.
Upon the completion of the course you will have the YMCA certification.
For those who would like, you can get Los Angeles County, NAUI and PADI crossover certifications.
The pool is indoor at 86F. 6 lanes, 25 yards.
