Diving Catalina - Casino Point Saturday November 8th

My lovely bride, toohotforhats and I are going on the early ferry, two or three dives. I hope the conditions are good, people are fun and everybody dives safe. Anyone else going?

Boy conditions have been great the past few days. Back to 50-60 ft vis even on a Saturday with dive classes in the park. Of course I haven't gotten wet, but I intend to break that drought this weekend and will probably see you on the 8th as well.

The Wrinkles dive is taking place both Saturday and Sunday....we'll be there Saturday only, but people will definitely be diving Sunday as well.

Hmmm... a possibility, Alberto. I haven't done a dive in almost six weeks so I haven't had a chance to hit the Valiant. I should have with all that great visibility.

Question: Is the air fill station still operate on weekends at the point or do you have to venture into town for air fills? I've heard conflicting answers.

I'm wondering about this myself. The winter's almost here and since this will be my first scuba diving winter at the park, there's a lot of unknowns to me. Lets hope the air fill station,as well as Avalon's other amenities, operate all year long .
