I am sorry to say I must take off of work to go diving, darn, don't you just hate it :egrin:

You see, there is this island called Catalina and for some strange reason I have been hearing voices in my head telling me I MUST come and visit my underwater friends, they miss me.

Besides, I bought a new gear bag that needs to be broken in, got new batteries for my dive light that need to be checked out, new roll of film in the camera that needs to be shot before the film goes bad, and, well you get the picture. Actually, who needs any excuses to go diving, right :mean:

So, I will be thinking of all my fellow board members =-x slaving away while I am blowing some bubbles.

Have fun but don't work too hard!! :nono:

Swamprat,

Unfortunately I don't get off work til 6. with LA traffic to get to the boat means I wouldn't get out til around 8, arrive at island 9ish. Definitely have to be a night dive, would have to take both of my tanks because the shops would be closed so no refills.

then I would have to stay overnight because the last boat leaves around 10 I believe.

Thanks Kelpmermaid,

I never knew there was a live cam there, duh!

How about it...I think they need a few more boats in that bay. :)

Socaldiver,

You are cruel and heartless! Imagine posting a note like that--one designed to make everyone envious! You just wait 'til I head to Hawaii--oops, I forgot, you're going to Hawaii, too. Well, wait 'til sometime!

Have a nice dive and get some great photos of horned sharks!

BLTN,

you should see the harbor on the weekend in the summertime. Yikes!! Casino Point is on the left of the cam (the round building you can see) and on the other side of the point is another little bay that takes the "overflow".

Geez Joewr, I'm sorry. I didn't mean ;-( to make you envious. If it helps any, I extend an invite for you to join me

BTW, 37 more days (but who's counting). hehe
