    catalina casino area tank filling

    Does anyone know if the filling station next to the casino / diving reserve area is still open (and when it will close) ?

    CDS (310) 510-0330. They are open weekends and from 8:00 to 12:00 weekdays (but verify that to be sure).

    Of course their hours are dependent to a degree on the number of divers who come out here. We've had a very slow year so far... I've seen days at the park where I was totally solo even in summer (midweek). They are a business and there's no sense staying open if no one is diving. However the "new" owners have done a great job of increasing their hours when there is enough business to merit it.

    Like Bill says, just call them.

    If they plan on closing the trailer, just arrange to have some tanks reserved. Scuba Luv will also rent full tanks and they have Nitrox if you are interested in that.
