Hi I will be working at the Ritz in Laguna Niguel this week Monday till Friday is there any good diving and if so any operators that go out during the week and after 5pm?
I don't know that any dive ops go out in the evenings, but shore diving is always an option. Of course, that will likely require a surf entry/exit, as mentioned above, so it's best if you either have some experience or go with people who do. Unfortunately, I don't live near enough to Laguna to night dive during the week. Hope you can find buddies who can (and some good conditions!).
Jt, you're an instructor? you've never dived Orange County (Laguna)?? And you're leaving your dive gear home? Based on someone saying not much is going on during the week evenings or night? I don't live close to Laguna, but its dive site gallore paradise day and night all year round. Did I mention overall consistancy of high quality diving? Hope you didn't already leave. If you have all is not lost. There's a couple dive shops close enough by to rent gear, and there's bound to be divers friendly enough to give you directions, to the walk to dive sites that appear in every small cove all along Laguna, or company during dives. You're almost going to the best Southern California shore dive destinations!!
