As of this morning viz has been less than 4feet with strong surge. My lds cancelled all ow class dives & all club dives as the surf was actually breaking in the cove. Conditions can change & im have no idea what the surf outlook is for the weekend...
"The post work dive tonight is being cancelled due to reports of overhead sets crashing the beach today. Classes and dives this morning were all cancelled.
Sorry guys but taking you out in these conditions especially at the cove would not be safe...."
On Tuesday, the surf was mild, viz was 10-15ish at 80' in the canyon and deteriorated quickly up from there. It was also quite cold at depth. Lots to see though :-) Angel sharks and butterfly rays on the mud slope.
