    Catalina cart rentals

6 days till Catalina! Wooo Hooo! I do have one problem I could use some help on though. We are taking my parents with us again and considering my Dads age and health I'm beginning to worry he may not be able walk up the hill to Seaport Villiage Inn too many times every day. Does anyone know where I might be able to rent a cart for him for the week ? Monday thru Friday would be great ? I know all the tourist rentals are by the hour only.
    Thanks,
    Bill

Thanks for the tips. I'm not sure an electric bike could make it up that hill? And I've already booked Seaport Villiage. I did look at Portafinos website and thier prices are way out of my league but thanks anyway. My dad started walking a little bit every day a few weeks ago so maybe his strength will be ok. We have a line on someone that can rent us a cart for at least one or two days and that will help.

No one rents golf carts longer than 3 hours unless you are renting a home that comes with one. The carts cost $40/hr and the maximum you can rent them for is the "three hour special."

I would assume the new electric bikes would make it up that hill with no problem. I'm not sure what the maximum time you can rent one for is though.

If you are diving (and I assume you are!), Seaport Village is one of the most diver friendly places to stay here. They transport you and your gear to and from the dive park, and I believe they pick you up at the boat as well.

Thanks Dr Bill, I'll look into a bike for my dad. My parents do not dive but I'm sure my Mom will want to drag my Dad around town every chance she gets. He's recovering from a fairly severe case of diverticulitus and he is getting stronger every day. We've had this trip booked a long time and he doesn't want to miss it. I was worried about him being able to get out and around and enjoy vacation. We have stayed at Seaport Villiage before and love thier service!

The staff at Seapot is very friendly! Discuss your concerns with them and they will work out something I am sure. If the hill is the only problem, I am sure they can offer a couple of rides for you and dad. Remember to tip them, they work hard!

Seaport will drop you and your equipment off right at the casino and pick you up when you call. If you have any concerns just call and talk to Raoul. He will take care of everything.
