The Daily Breeze and Long Beach Press Telegram both reported a dive accident off Catalina on August 12th (2014). Their posts stated it was off "Allen's Landing." I've lived on the island 45 years and have never heard of a place called that. I checked with the local dive shops and the harbor department and no one was aware of this. Wondering if anyone knows what happened and where?

I was just out at Howland's Landing yesterday and heard nothing about an incident in that area. I'm a little peeved at the Dai;y Breeze since I've posted comments asking for further details with no response

Phil, I'm getting that impression but I thought the Long Beach Press Telegram would do better

Oh, wonderful. Still no update on either paper's website.
