p.s. this is a re-post. Getting a wonky access denied error with the other thread I created. Can anyone get in?

What are the thoughts on diving Casino Point during or just after a rain?

I ask from a health, bacterial/contaminant water run-off perspective rather than viz.
Guess she's always been good to me in the past with clear skies. Not so this weekend. :(

It is in open ocean and there are not any rivers, etc. nearby. I would not think it would be an issue. But I could be wrong. I have dove in light rain and did not get sick but that is just one data point.

I've dived Casino Point for decades and would not be concerned about doing it after a rain. My only thought would be regarding the visibility, but it often remains fairly good after a rain that is not accompanied by strong wind or swell. I might feel a little different about diving Avalon Bay after a rain though.

By the way, I tried accessing your other thread but was denied with some sort of firewall warning
