We are closing in on $40,000!!!

We're in that weird time window between two weeks out and one week away when it's too soon to plead "FINAL DAYS" but it's close enough to the finish line that we get concerned about where we'll end up.

This is especially true this year because our boat signups are lagging significantly. We're at a little over 50% where last year at this time we were sold out. So contributions to the Challenge from folks who understand the importance of our Chamber REALLY become critical at this juncture.

That's why we're so pleased to welcome a new Gold sponsor in the form of Marine Animal Rescue, a group dedicated to helping and saving stranded sea lions and other marine animals in the same way (broadly speaking) that our Chamber helps divers. We've also got the folks at South Orange County Dive Club (SOCDC) to thank for their Gold level sponsorship in addition to the two tables they have at Chamber Eve. And we also have a dynamic duo in the person of Carlos Linares and Symantec Corporation, the latter of who matches Carlos' $500 contribution to make it $1000 total and bump it up to Gold (as well as illustrate the power of corporate matching grants).

Who's next? Who's willing to go to www.chamberday.org and give us a push to help us get past $40,000???? How about . . . YOU???????
