A night dive is planned for Wednesday night, 9/22 at Veterans Park in Redondo Beach. Unless the conditions are bad, the dive will be a go. http://www.divevets.com will usualy have some info on the dive during the day tomorrow.
We start meeting in the parkinglot around 6:30pm. You don't need a buddy. There is a large number of DMs and Instructors as part of the group and we usually pair off to ensure there is adiquate experience in each dive group. If you've wanted to experience a night dive, this is a great opportunity. All skill levels are welcome. The group usually has between 8-15 divers. It's easy to find us, we have wetsuits and tanks. Bring quarters for the meters.
If you are doing a night dive for the first time, here's the pre-dive briefing to familarize yourself with: http://www.divevets.com/nightbrief.htm
Hope some of you can join us. Free air fill coupons will be supplied a the dive as well.
Here's a map for those who don't know the area: http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.ad.../aUqgnzl62/TZnqI3JXh0bw04x7olHMGxJ9++G/wxhGI=
