Dive Connections is running a special this weekend out of San Diego. 6am Two tank boat dive to the Coronado's. $46. Great deal. Includes tanks and lead but you can bring your own if ya want. Great diving down there and the vis has been 60-80ft up to this point. Here is the link to the specials. You got to book it using paypal to get the lower price. Sean, John, Paul and many others are jumping on this boat. There were still 14 spots open as of this morning so we need 4 more folks to sign up for this boat to go. a solid 10 divers on a boat that carries 20 is awesome!!!

Now this is not a luxury boat. Snacks, water and hot soup between dives is provided. Bring warm clothes for the surface interval and take your meds if you are prone to motion sickness. Hope to see you all there.

So, if we get enough people from the board for this, could this be the November Partially Wrinkled Boat Dive? :eyebrow:

OK - I paid... but how do I sign up? Where are boat directions, etc?

John, you forgot, Wrinkles is going!!

I'm sure the boat will fill up quickly now!

Dang, if only they would have given us our Open Water cert since I have the dives. But I got to wait till the end of the semester to get my AOW.

All you have to do is print out your receipt from Paypal and bring it with you. It will act as your electronic ticket. Directions to the boat are here: http://gottadive.com/map_&_directions.htm

Print and fill out a dive waiver in advance to speed your check in process. They can be found here: http://gottadive.com/images/Release form.pdf

See you all on Sunday at 6am.

You can make this dive as a OW diver. The depth runs shallow enough.

Do you mean that you're taking SCUBA in college? You've completed your OW course but are finishing the semester with AOW? If so, can't they give you a copy of your c-card at least, so you can dive? (supposition... take with a grain of salt)

Well, I have no cert. I am taking an Advanced Scuba cert class. I have completed the necesarry requirements to qualify for an OW, but my teacher will not give it to us :) He says AOW.
