This day long course covers the 18 step protocol for visually inspecting high pressure gas cylinders, including SCUBA and SCBA. Cost(s) include Inspecting Cylinders, course workbook, use of tools during hands-on portion of course, and certification/registration with PSI Headquarters. Previously trained inspectors who are outside the three year training window can sign up for the Refresher course.

Eddy Current Technician $165.00
This 2 hour course provides Visual Cylinder Inspectors with the added training to know when and how to conduct a proper Eddy Current Tests of SCUBA and SCBA cylinders in addition to hands on experience with Eddy Current devices. Attendants are required to be certified by PSI as Visual Cylinder Inspectors and participants receive certification as Eddy Current Service Technician upon course completion.
Valve Repair Technician $185.00
This course provides introduction to valves and valve repair for the most common valves in service. Certificate awarded upon completion.
Oxygen Cylinder Cleaning Technician $185.00
Prerequisite: Current PSI/PCI visual cylinder inspector training. This course provides training related to cylinders prepared for enriched air and oxygen service. Certificate awarded upon completion.
