Waterpolo-What a game and a workout!

I started playing waterpolo with an ad-hoc community group last night. I have been interested in the game since first seeing it in high school but just never really pursued it.

Wow, what a workout, more so than underwater hockey or lap swimming. It was pretty good, 20 minutes or so of warm-up, half-hour or so of skill development (ball handling), and a 20 minute scrimmage. We had about 25 people from teen on up which is pretty amazing when you consider that water polo is not played by age group, high school, or colleges in Alaska.

We will be swimming once a week which will complement my masters swimming quite nicely.
