not sure if it has a model focus light? Does it? thought the difference between 1 and 2 was that 1 is sttl and 2 is manual? How do you like it?
 
The YS-01 has a built-in focus light and supports DS-TTL. The YS-02 shoots manual mode only (no DS-TTL) and has no focus light. My wife liked her YS-110A but wanted the more compact YS-01 when she went to dual strobes. She'll be using the YS-01s for the first time this weekend.
