I presently use two Dacor super 80's, the short fat tank. I have been thinking about getting two more and clean for nitrox. However, I was also considering buying (2) steel 80's instead. When diving, I would propably either use nitrox or air but not both on the same day. Through experience, would the buoyancy differences be a pain to manage or should I completely stay with the ame tank?

Can you give us a little more info to go on. Things like the type of diving you're doing, equipment setup, exposure protection, salt or freshwater? The more info you can give the better. There are quite a few factors that need to be taken into account when considering AL vs. steel tanks. Are you planning on doubling these tanks up or just using them as singles? On a side note I really dig those super 80's. :D
