I just purchased 2 new pressed steel aqua air pro120 low pressure cylanders with thermo valves at what I consider to be a good value compared to faber with scubapro valves. Any thoughts about the difference betwen pressed steel and faber what do you reccomend ,also quality differential of thermal valve and scuba pro valve. Also I hav'nt done a bouyency check yet, any suggestions as to the negative value compared to a faber 95.

If you search the board, you'll find all the answers, but to summarize:

PSTs are generally regarded better for several reasons, one of them being is that they are more rust-resistant: hot-dip galvanized vs. painted Fabers.

Buoyancy characteristics can be found here.

As to valves, valve is a valve. If you don't like it for whatever reason buy a new one.

I have all thermo valves on my single tanks (4) and like them fine.
