I have seen a few things recently that has prompted me to ask this audience for its comments.

How do YOU assemble your doubles, what bolt arrangement do you use.

1. Threaded rod, standard nuts and washers
2. Threaded rod, acorn nuts, nyloc nuts and washers
3. Custom shoulder bolts (partially threaded) nyloc's etc
4. Another configuration (please explain)
5. Duct Tape, some bungee cord and some zip ties.

For the record, I personally prefer option 3.

Thanks for your inputs

Dave

Arrangement Number 3, a.k.a. "What Highland Sends You With The Bands."

I have one set of #3s and one set of #2s. I like the 3s better, but the 2s came with the hardware they came with...so I used it.

come with all the hardware... you have two options, (1) there is a nut with a lock washer and a partially threaded bolt or above mentioned #3 option...

I prefer #3 myself, I have three sets of doubles, and they all have highland bands on them...
