Well, I knew the time would come when my local dive shop would stop filling my old US Divers Pro-80 Aluminum tank. This tank has sentimental value as it was my first my tank and Tank have had since high school. I remember buying with my paper route money at Dive n Surf in Redondo Beach, CA. I kept it through all my moves and it's sad to see it go. It probably has 500+ dives. It's older than most of the kids that fill the tank.

Looking for ideas on what to do with it.

1) Use as decorative vase for flowers
2) A very good paper weight
3) Sell to unsuspecting teenager to use for filling paintball gun on eBay
4) try to do the scene in Jaws to see if can explode by shooting with a rifle

Any other ideas?

use it to prop your door open to get some nice ventalation in the house,
rig it up for a cool gas tank for a little dune buggy or jon boat
get another 3 and use it for a set of legs for a coffee table
cut the flat end off and use it for a speaker enclosure
try converting to a nitrous tank
or if you instruct use as a teaching tank that you can show the type of valve, the thickness of the walls and code breakdown

ok... I dug through my file archives

Use it as a missile. (click play)

Shoot it with a High Powered Rifle (I want to see a Tank Explode)

Weld a couple of handles on it and donate to the local law enforcement office to use as a door battering ram. ;-).
