why do non of the dive centers in bonaire have din cylinders available ?

dont they want the rest of the world to go diving there?

major downer.

Most rental tanks are yoke, and the explanation I read is the DIN threads in the tank connection are more prone to damage in a rental setting. I just take a DIN to yoke adapter and never had a problem.

Guess you'll have to bring your DIn to yoke adaptor.
I had a bit of trouble in Cozumel as well, they told me no DIN.

adapter is a pain in the head-literally.

why dont these people want the europeans to go diving there.?

Oh no, they won't convert their tanks to accommodate my desires. What can I do?

Converting a regulator is quite easy. Or just keep a couple of each on hand.

Check with Dive Friends or WannaDive, I believe it was one of them that had HP tanks last year...

I remember talking with a group from Germany who had rented HP tanks from one of them.
