Phil, I never figured you for a NASCAR fan....

I mean it can get pretty boring sitting around on a Sunday afternoon drinking beer and watching a bunch of millionaires drive in circles doing left turns...

wait a minute.... beer is involved. I understand now.

I actually enjoy NASCAR racing. Not enough to get in the crowd and weather a live trip to Talladega, but I enjoy watching it on television. The "sitting" part and the "beer" part do help.

Actually, no matter what I think of NASCAR, I would be in favor of this Team Scuba thing. After all, if it brings just a few people to diving, that would outpace all previous industry efforts. Team Scuba many work. It may even work big. It may become the SINGLE LARGEST DIVER EXPANSION effort ever undertaken.

Given the efficacy of the previous attempts I think that Team Scuba has already reached that mark.

Many of the drivers are divers, maybe more will become divers ... The point is, diving, and NAUI in particular, will get a level of exposure like they have never had before. That's a good thing for diving and NAUI in general. NAUI will profit from this association. Bob

It's about business, and since it's a DIVE business, that makes it about diving. Seems pretty clear to me.

Jeff Gordon, Tony Stewert, and Dale Jr. are all divers.

I wish teamscuba much success in both the driving and diving efforts, I will be an individual sponser, and hope to see the TeamScuba car win a race out here on the left coast in the very near future!

I myself work for Hendrick Motorsports. One of the largest and my opinion "the best". The sameteam that has Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson, Dale Jr and Casey Mears. All of them have dove many times. But you will also be suprised out of the 500 employees there. There is alot of divers there. I being one of them. I myself went on a NC coast dive 2 weeks ago with 2 members of Dale Earnhardt Inc. The ol redneck sport prosona "spelling" are long gone.Teammembers are from all over the country. I for one saw the ad and think it is a awesome step forward for the diving community. Goodluck in the race season Team Scuba were are behind you.

Team Scuba enroute to Chicago

Transporter left for Chicago today, with the cars sporting their new 2008 look. Team Scuba welcomes all to come and support.
Our next show will be in New Jersey at "Beneth the Seas", then off to Atlanta and Ft. Lauderdale and yes we are putting a trip together for the West Coast (Calif). We want to take this moment to thank all of our sponsors for supporting Team Scuba and Ray Black Jr.

Thanks and see you at the shows.

Now just how many of these actually have something to do directly to auto racing? So why should Scuba be any different than any of these companies?

Diving is not as green an activity as some of you think it is.

obviously most posters believe that folks can not obtain more than one intrest~Diving and Nascar??? Heaven forbid!!! Well there are a few of us that actually enjoy both~
Ironic huh? Just because I set up my dives around the weekend races doesn't really make me a "couch potato" or a "watcher" , but then again I might just be an 'ol redneck because of my diversifacation of interests~ Maybe I'll just stick with my beliefs that spreading the word of diving to the largest viewing audience in the US is kinda cool~
