I have been looking into the Deep Trimix Class offered by Akumal Dive Shop in Akumal, Mexico, Quintana Roo. Anyone have info or experience on this? Thanks.

I dove with Akumal Dive Shop. I was pleased with what they do because they do it as well as anyone else around; but if I was looking into anything beyond simple single tank rec dives I would give them a pass.

Thanks for the heads up. Their Deep Trimix class is described as "4 dives, 3 deeper than 300 feet." I would do this only with people that I trust. D.L.

Try Protec in Playa del Carmen. They are just north of Akumal. I did my rebreather cert with them and we did some dives in Akumal. BTW there is a cool 200 feet deep cenote there. google cenote angelita. Great dive!
