A quick reminder to all the Dallas/Ft Worth area divers that the ScubaDillo meeting is this Thursday, Sept. 6th at 7:30pm (6:30p is the social hour) at the Midway Point restaurant at Midway Road and LBJ.
This months speaker will be Ron Carlo, a Master Instructor for TDI (Technical Diving Institute) and his subject will be the general aspects of Technical Diving.
Tech diving is everything beyond the basics of recreational SCUBA, including using different breathing gasses, going to 130 fsw and beyond, wreck diving, cave diving, rebreathers, and much much more. And this is the chance to find out about all of this from one of the best Tech diving instructors in the area.
I've taken several classes with Ron and he is a very good speaker and instructor. So I can assure you that you will enjoy the talk.
I look forward to seeing you folks there (especially my fellow Swamp Divers!!!)
