New diver - Austin Dive buddy

Hey everyone! I wanted to introduce myself and see if could find some dive buddies in the Austin area to go diving with.

I am, Jeremy, a recently resurrected diving addict. I dove years ago and had a few dives dives under my belt on the West Coast, in the SF Bay Area and Lake Tahoe mostly. I quit diving for about 10 years and have recently gotten certified again.

I am looking for dive buddies in Austin area that don't mind leading dives until I get to know the area's dive spots. Have 7 dives since November, but looking to go out at least 2 times a month on weekends if possible. Don't mind driving within 4 hours of Austin, if there are other great dive spots to explore.

Check out the Austin Meetup website. There are a hundred or more divers associated with the informal group. The Austin and San Antonio groups went on a diving cruise in Feb 2015.

Welcome to SB! I'm planning to dive Mammoth Lake (Lake Jackson) as soon as the weather clears up, you're welcome to join me. Its a 3.5hr trek from Austin. Usually, I go diving by myself either at Athens or CSSP, but now that Travis is becoming a lake again, I'll be hitting Windy Point in the coming weeks as well. PM me your info.
