I'm planning to do a scuba internship during my gap year and I have heard good things about Simple Life. Would anybody care to share their experiences? More specifically, has anyone been through their DM/Instructor/MSDT program or have any information on it?

If you are serious about becoming a dive professional, I think such courses are a waste of time.
If you are simply looking for something to do whilst on your gap year and do some diving along the way then maybe a dive internship is OK. But if you are not intending to become a dive professional at the end of your internship, why waste all the money on PADI materials and certifications you are not intending to use, also why spend a lot of time studying and taking exams when you could be doing something more enjoyable.
There are a number of threads in the Thailand forum discussing the pro's and con's of these courses. Here is a link to one of the more recent ones....http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/th...ernship-idc-course-based-around-thailand.html
