I figured I ask early to see if anyone is interested in a dive on either day 11/8 - 11/9. Shore dive will work but if anyone needs $$$$ for fuel I have that also. Let's see what we can stir up to all get wet!

Wish I could. I have to work all next weekend. I might try to get my boat out for a dive the following weekend so if I do I'll give you a yell. Maybe try that artificial reef down there in Sarasota.

I should be able to do something next weekend! I really need to squeeze in to my heavy suit to see if I still can!!

Hopefully you won't have to do that much "squeezing" to get into it. Better to find out on dry land then have issues in the water! Hopefully it will still fit!!

I can do the 9th if my reg is back from service. I'm a bachelor next weekend, so I'll need something unproductive to do.
Where were you thinking of going?
I might have to break out the drysuit if water temps get any colder. Geez, I'm Florida warm water wuss already.

I figure if it's a shore dive we can try and look for shark teeth or crabs. Whatever sounds good. If we can get a boat it's wide open lots of options! Venice for teeth or Spanish Rocks for crabs. The vis was bad a couple of weeks ago at Spanish Rocks but who knows it might get a little better by the weekend.
I know if we do go for crabs I need to get a license. Since I didn't have one last time. Don't need that ticket!!

To all that are interested. Sat. 11/8 at 8:30 - 9:00 am a shore dive in Venice. If you click on the forum below you will see pictures of the area. If interested just respond back so we will have an idea of how many.
Where to go: Park on Alahambra. Walk to shoreline. Enter water 50 - 100 yards north of drainage pipes. swim past sand bar heading west. Drop down continue west. Looks like something to check out. Haven't dove there yet so it will be a new experience.
